About 24/7 Event Crew

Paul gives us an enormous amount of experience having started crewing in 2006. Based in Cardiff, Paul runs our South Wales division, manages all shows at the Cardiff International Arena and can be found during summer running festival site crews at Download, Love Supreme, Camp Bestival North & South and Creamfields.

In his spare time Paul loves buying and renovating vintage motorbikes and spending time with Claire, his children and grandchildren. Doesn’t dance.

Leon is one of our Cardiff crew chiefs, notably running our crews at the Principality Stadium and Swansea Arena. Leading from the front, Leon sets an example across the whole crew.

In his spare time, he and the family are partial to a bit of fried chicken and mountain biking, mountain biking and a bit more mountain biking. Can dance if asked.

Rhyddian has been in the industry since 2011. Starting as crew and progressing to crew chief, he now heads up our training operation whether it be H&S, plant or first aid to new and experienced crew alike. More recently Rhyddian has headed up our UAE Division, bringing training and experience to our local partners through the Emirates. Can dance.

Jake heads up our Bristol Division training and developing new crew to join the 24/7 ranks. Again, Jake started crewing in 2016. He has worked himself up the ranks and is first on the list for foreign projects as well as managing Bristol shows, from stadium tours at Ashton Gate to corporate and TV work across the city.

Jake loves music and spends his free time travelling with friends across the country and abroad to see his favourite bands. Thinks he can dance.

Sharon heads up the HR team across all divisions bringing all the company strategies and processes to manage the company’s workforce into a well-trained labour force ready for any eventuality. She has been working in live events for 25 years.

Sharon enjoys time with family, friends and walking the family dogs, Savanah and Dexter. Sharon enjoys her music and going to gigs, always thinking about food and needs to be regularly submerged in water, preferably the sea. Loves to dance.

Cloe has worked in crewing for over 10 years, joining 24/7 Event Crew 2019.

Cloe has no children of herself (yet) however feels like she has 100+ children looking after the crew, answering to their beck and call.

Cloe has a crazy blue staff called Luna who she loves taking out on adventures in her spare time and loves a dip in the sea in all weathers.

Becky heads up the accounts, looking after payroll and invoicing.

Becky enjoys going for walks in the countryside with family and friends, cooking curry and playing her cello; not all at the same time! Loves to dance but only with flat toed shoes and the scores from Coppelia and the Nutcracker.

Blondie has worked as a crew member since 2005 and is a highly respected member of the team. His responsibilities range from crew chief to trainer, and he is our designated mental health first aider. Blondie enjoys walks along the seafront with his partner, rock concerts and lately baking! Blondie dances like he’s still 21, and when he dances… Everybody dances!

Chappers is the newest member to join the team. He has recently completed his NEBOSH and is now our Health and Safety manager as well as assisting with operations and working on site. He has been a part of our summer team since 2016 and has now joined the team full time. If he’s not working he can be found on the golf course, the football pitch, walking his dog or at home gaming. Once he starts dancing, he struggles to stop!
